VUMAC has 404 beds in 126 bedrooms. Most rooms have a private bath and there are 2-5 beds per room. In the bed count are 2 dormitories located near the gym. There are 2 large meeting rooms that can accommodate as many as 100-200 in addition to several small break out rooms.  The auditorium can hold over 400 individuals and has a baby grand piano and organ on stage.

We are fortunate to have a heated pool that is also used by the community for water aerobics, lap swim and family fun. Southside VA Community College is currently using the pool for their scuba diving class. Camp Pickett also uses the pool from time to time for scuba diving training. The pool is available for birthday pool parties year round.

The auditorium can be rented for special events such as gospel sings, recitals, etc.

The Center for Spiritual Enlightenment formally called the Gables is available for meetings, retreats, wedding receptions, parties and other affairs. Call the Center for more information and rates.

Many brides use the rose garden for weddings, receptions and portrait taking.
